The Festival of Arabic Music & Arts presents “A Tribute to Melhem Barakat.”
This special program returns with artist Michel Snono performing a selection of Melhem Barakat’s most beloved songs, along with additional classics cherished by audiences across generations.
Melhem Barakat was one of Lebanon’s most prominent artists, renowned for his powerful voice, deep emotion, and timeless songs that expressed love, passion, and the authentic spirit of Lebanese music. His artistic legacy continues to hold a special place as one of the Arab world’s most treasured musical legacies.
This special evening invites you to rediscover the beauty of his music through a rich program celebrating his most famous songs, along with additional works that bring greater depth and distinction to the experience.
The concert features artist Michel Snono, accompanied by musicians from the Canadian Arabic Orchestra, for an unforgettable and moving evening honouring a legendary artist who left a lasting mark on generations.

يعود هذا البرنامج المميز مع الفنان ميشيل سنونو، الذي سيقدّم باقة من أشهر أغاني ملحم بركات، إلى جانب مجموعة إضافية من الأعمال الكلاسيكية التي أحبها الجمهور على مرّ الأجيال.
كان ملحم بركات واحدًا من أبرز الفنانين اللبنانيين، واشتهر بصوته القوي، وإحساسه العميق، وأغانيه الخالدة التي عبّرت عن الحب والشغف وروح الموسيقى اللبنانية الأصيلة. ولا يزال إرثه الفني يحتل مكانة مميزة بوصفه واحدًا من أثمن الكنوز الموسيقية في العالم العربي.
